Tenure-track Expatriate Professor Positions

Sungkyunkwan University has been ranked 17th in Asia and 118th in the world university rankings by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) for 2015. SKKU has been striving reach the top 50 in world university rankings by 2020 with the financial support of Samsung since 1996.
Graduate School of China was established in 2005 as a Chinese MBA course, which focus on training students to become authorities in Chinese affairs with sophisticated insights and learned abilities to solve complex business problems and difficulties.

Position Type
Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (Non-Korean)

Description
Graduate School of China(GSC) invites expatriate faculty members (non-Korean) in the following area for 2016. Applicants are expected to hold a Ph.D. degree by the date of appointment. Appointees are expected to perform high quality research/scholarly activities and lectures in English or Chinese at both graduate and undergraduate levels.

Recruitment Field: Chinese Studies in Management (Seoul Campus)
- Position Type: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor
- Majors/Specialties: Finance, Strategy, Marketing, All fields of management
(Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, Organization Theory, Enterpreneurship, Labor Relations) will be considered.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have a doctorate in a relevant discipline at the time of application or are expected to earn a doctorate by the anticipated date in 2016. Candidates should not have any reason for disqualification under the private school law. Only non-Koreans can apply for these positions.

Salary
Annual salary depends on previous educational background and work experience
(Example: USD 70,000~80,000 with Ph.D. + 5 years of experience)

Fringe Benefits
Housing subsidies USD 23,000/year (up to 6 years max), airfare + moving expenses USD 6,800 (once at the beginning), pension + health insurance (there is a faculty sharing portion by law), paid vacation (summer/winter, which means a 12-month contract, not 9-month).

Teaching Load
Professors are expected to teach 9~15 credits per year, depending on their research performance.
